St. Peter’s medieval church served as the cathedral of the once mightiest Archbishopric in northern Europe. The Christian mission spread from Bremen to all of Scandinavia and along the Baltic coast as far east as Riga. For a detailed description of all treasures at the St. Peter’s Cathedral, special art and organ guides can be purchased in the “Dom-Shop”. We urge you to take a little detour into the “Dom-Museum”/ Cathedral Museum just after station 3 Subsequently you can climb the tower or pay a visit to the mummies in the “Bleikeller”/ lead cellar.
